Eduardo Dorado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Burgos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Eduardo Dorado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Burgos went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. George Weahs Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ngina Njoroge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Dorado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Dorado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mwai Emilio Otieno in the 36th minute of the match. FC Hamunaptra's Eduardo Dorado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Burgos in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match George Weahs Academy got a corner. FC Hamunaptra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francis Birir ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sorin Capșuneanu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Eduardo Dorado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for George Weahs Academy.

The wind increased when Franco Burgos made the kick off in the second half. George Weahs Academy were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FC Hamunaptra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francis Birir took the corner. George Weahs Academy's Riho Ringo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eduardo Dorado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 59 minutes into the game, FC Hamunaptra's David Nekesa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aggelos Telakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 61st minute, Ngina Njoroge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Nekesa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aggelos Telakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Nekesa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Ngina Njoroge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Franco Burgos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduardo Dorado. The goal made the score 3-2. Franco Burgos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Dorado having to make a save. Eduardo Dorado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franco Burgos in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Franco Burgos made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Dorado. The supporters of FC Hamunaptra booed when George Weahs Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Capșuneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Omar Njoroge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Telakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, George Weahs Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Capșuneanu to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
