The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehat Kovaçi got free with Serafin Ugaitz in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehat Kovaçi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafin Ugaitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehat Kovaçi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. When Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute, Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Serafin Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Equipo were awarded a corner. Jairo Zambrano went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehat Kovaçi got free with Serafin Ugaitz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Equipo's Jairo Zambrano to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafin Ugaitz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mehat Kovaçi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serafin Ugaitz. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Mehat Kovaçi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Equipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehat Kovaçi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Nestor Viviano with Roland Nieruchliwy as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nestor Viviano charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Viviano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cacomixtles de Queretaro getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehat Kovaçi to make the kick off. The Equipo fans' excitement grew in the 50th match minute when Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 54 played minutes Cacomixtles de Queretaro got a freekick which was hit by Hüsnü Hürsel. Serafin Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Mehat Kovaçi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Equipo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 64 minutes into the match, Equipo's Bruno Beugnet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Ugaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Equipo's Bruno Beugnet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Ugaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Gustav Sefastsson was substituted for Constantino Henrico. If Javier Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Bruno Beugnet notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Serafin Ugaitz. Serafin Ugaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute Bruno Beugnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Che in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Beugnet came free, but Serafin Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Equipo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
