Gigih Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Universidad Nacional. If Isaac Ignazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Steffen Gimlinge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Universidad Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Steffen Gimlinge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gigih Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Stevenson in the 37th minute of play. Ziyäddin Cabbarov made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tracto's Herminio Distiratsu. A collision led to Club Universidad Nacional getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Isaac Ignazio hit a great ball.

Gigih Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Gimlinge in the 53rd minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Tracto's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Gimlinge came free, but Gigih Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Club Universidad Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Paublo. Club Universidad Nacional's Feliciano Frans was substituted for Steffen Gimlinge. The supporters of Tracto booed when Club Universidad Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Paublo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Stevenson in the 69th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Tracto's Arnoud de Pelsmakere threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Stevenson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 76 minutes of play, Tracto's José Stevenson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoud de Pelsmakere was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the game, Club Universidad Nacional's Feliciano Frans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigih Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 89th match minute, Club Universidad Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Ignazio to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Club Universidad Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Ignazio. In the 95th minute of the match Victoriano Distiratsu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Club Universidad Nacional's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
