In the 10th minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Benat was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Villa came free, but Atilano Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Senen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Villegas was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Senen in the 16th managed to get into a good position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Villa in the 23rd minute of play forced Dromes FC's goalkeeper Atilano Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cavaliers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Dromes FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cavaliers FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastián Villa to make the kick off. Atilano Benat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastián Villa's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Sebastián Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Benat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Cavaliers FC were awarded a corner. Teofilo Mikeldi went to the cornerflag to take it. Atilano Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Villa in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Juan Pablo Rodríguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Dromes FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Juan Pablo Rodríguez hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match Cavaliers FC got a corner. Dromes FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Mikeldi ran over to the corner to take the kick. 81 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goalkeeper Atilano Benat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Iratxo. In the 81st minute, Ambrosio Iratxo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Atilano Benat. The goal made the score 0-5. Atilano Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Villa in the 95th minute of play. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Desiderio Rami replaced Teofilo Mikeldi. Cavaliers FC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Dromes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeremias Sandalio took the corner. The corner led Cavaliers FC's Jeremias Sandalio to fire away a dangerous shot which Atilano Benat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cavaliers FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
