Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Beltran in the 3rd minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Águilas Poblanas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Mikeldi was slow to take the kick. During this time Cavaliers FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Adolfo Umea heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cornelio Villegas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Cristaldo in the 8th minute. Alexandros Ismael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastián Villa's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Jeremias Sandalio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Klement Malik charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klement Malik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Malik to maneuver through the defense. Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Villa in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandros Ismael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas got control of the ball when Eusebio Beltran tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Eusebio Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, one of Águilas Poblanas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 48 minutes Águilas Poblanas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teofilo Mikeldi who took care of the corner kick. Efrain Villegas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Beltran was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Epifanio Intxixu hit a great ball. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Godofredo Hibai replaced Alin Cristaldo. In the 62nd match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. Águilas Poblanas's Jacinto Galeno was substituted for Eusebio Beltran. In the 70th minute Cavaliers FC were awarded a corner. Teofilo Mikeldi went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Sebastián Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandros Ismael was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Cornelio Villegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Hibai in the 82nd minute of play. Sebastián Villa took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandros Ismael. Alexandros Ismael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Pastor Etxeberri replaced Ambrosio Iratxo. 92 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Galeno came free, but Cornelio Villegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cengiz Canalp made in the 96th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacinto Galeno. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cavaliers FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
