Marcelo Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Chuan came free, but Olavo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavo Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluca Kán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Uxio in the 21st minute of play. After 24 played minutes Fashions del Averno got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Chano. Godofredo Remigio took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gianluca Kán. Gianluca Kán dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fashions del Averno's attentive Tora Raba managed to snatch the ball when Andres Felipo made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Gianluca Kán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Remigio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Chuan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Godofredo Remigio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gianluca Kán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olavo Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Chuan in the 65th minute of play. Fashions del Averno's Chucky Lozano was substituted for Hernan Laurendi. Racing Club made a substitution. Fermin Hibai replaced Julian Tejerina. In the 77th minute of the game Artemio Chano made a throw-in which Marcelo Chuan played forward. In the 82nd minute, George Orwel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 85 minutes of play, Fashions del Averno's Marcelo Chuan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavo Henriques was left in no man's land by his defense there! George Orwel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gianluca Kán having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Racing Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
