The Gonz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Madureira should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gonz FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Manuelo was slow to take the kick. During this time Vikingos FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 19th minute Ladislao Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Vikingos FC got a corner. Gonz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ladislao Erramu might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Erramu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute Ladislao Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Gonz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vikingos FC's Ladislao Erramu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cássio Lopes hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Ladislao Erramu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. David Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
