An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Tipi in the 5th minute of play forced Gonz FC's goalkeeper David Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Gonz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Tipi came free, but David Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonz FC's goalkeeper David Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Tipi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonz FC's David Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Tipi in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Tipi in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Madureira saved Gonz FC from getting behind. Leonardo Tipi took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Madureira. David Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Les Tigres's Paulino Lain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Les Tigres from getting a goal against them. David Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Leonardo Tipi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Paulino Lain came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonz FC's Royal Paladin. But to his dismay, Royal Paladin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 37 minutes into the game, Severino Estevez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. David Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the game, Leonardo Tipi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. The Gonz FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Les Tigres were winning 1-5.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvatore Schillaci made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Tipi got free with David Madureira in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonz FC's David Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Võsandi in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Gonz FC's David Madureira got control of the ball when Leonardo Tipi tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 61st minute of the match. Edvard Võsandi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Madureira. David Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonardo Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. David Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Võsandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Les Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Royal Paladin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Gonz FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Les Tigres's performance. The match ended with a win for Les Tigres.
