Arsenio Manuelo ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Gonz FC's David Madureira got control of the ball when Marco Cantona tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Marek Torm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonz FC's David Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Gonz FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vikingos FC:s goal. David Madureira had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Arsenio Manuelo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marco Cantona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but David Madureira made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugeniusz Zapolski during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Erramu in the 58th minute of play forced Gonz FC's goalkeeper David Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Vikingos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
