The audience thought a goal was coming when Xorxe Canosa got free with Franc Merlot in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Machu Picchu's Tanek Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Elenescu in the 8th minute of play. Tanek Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Hayrullah Özgun threw the ball into play from the sideline. TiGrEs Fx's Hugo Quintana quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Elenescu in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Zurawski saved Machu Picchu from getting behind. Hayrullah Özgun made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TiGrEs Fx's Edgard Estevez. Tanek Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Elenescu in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xorxe Canosa during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xorxe Canosa got free with Franc Merlot in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Elenescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franc Merlot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Canosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by TiGrEs Fx's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı was slow to take the kick. During this time Machu Picchu's players had a chance to rest. TiGrEs Fx made a substitution. Maju Vellon replaced José Madero. Machu Picchu's Dom Lugano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maju Vellon, made in the 65th minute of the game. Franc Merlot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Canosa in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Dom Lugano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Machu Picchu's Abuzer İmge was substituted for Hayrullah Özgun. After a rather tough play, Machu Picchu's Dom Lugano got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Rancaño in the 73rd minute of play forced Machu Picchu's goalkeeper Tanek Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xorxe Canosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franc Merlot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Machu Picchu were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after TiGrEs Fx's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı took the corner. After taking down the ball on Machu Picchu's corner Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franc Merlot quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to TiGrEs Fx getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marcos Marcos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xorxe Canosa in the 82nd minute of play forced TiGrEs Fx's goalkeeper Franc Merlot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
