Irinel Soneriu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlin Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Șerban Negulici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Edorta came free, but Irinel Soneriu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Freire made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Yetkiner Yasun sent off a good shot on target. Yetkiner Yasun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Edorta in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Ermegildo Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Soneriu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Duda Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Irinel Soneriu was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Dorival Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Negulici, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 47th minute, Șerban Negulici reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorival Freire. The goal made the score 2-0.
The supporters of FC Lutanu booed when Premier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Edorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yetkiner Yasun in the 53rd minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led FC Lutanu's Constantin Istrătescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Dorival Freire despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Edorta. After some careless play in the Premier FC defense, Yetkiner Yasun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorival Freire. The Premier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorival Freire should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlin Haaland in the 69th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlin Haaland in the 80th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Erlin Haaland notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu. Irinel Soneriu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute Ermegildo Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Soneriu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Premier FC's Duda Velloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irinel Soneriu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Duda Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Irinel Soneriu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorival Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Negulici in the 98th minute of the match. Premier FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
