The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mazinho Barreto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Diego Di Toma fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dorival Freire, passed just outside the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Fonseca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Mandrak in the 83rd minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
