In the 13th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horst-Peter Unterberger to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The throw-in from Horst-Peter Unterberger in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KaoS Futbol Club's León Ponzio. 34 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Adrian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Erland in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Jacob Albuquerque dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidiu Adrian, 2-1. Ovidiu Adrian came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Jacob Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adib Ovi in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacob Albuquerque was the one to do the kick off. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Albuquerque in the 51st minute of play. KaoS Futbol Club made a substitution. Andres Baresi replaced Amancio Semeno. KaoS Futbol Club's Igor Lebas was substituted for Jacob Albuquerque. KaoS Futbol Club's Albino Olayo was substituted for León Ponzio. In the 78th minute, Zhao Bing Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartosz Erland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pierluigi Buffon. That made the score 5-2 in the 81 minute of play. If Igor Lebas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute of the match, Mauro Primeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pierluigi Buffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Lebas in the 88th minute of play. Pierluigi Buffon was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Tiger De Hond capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiger De Hond really showed his touch with that goal: 5-3. The KaoS Futbol Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
