After taking down the ball on FC Bestone 716's corner Albertinho do Vale fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eduardo Baiano quite easily take care of the ball. Edmundo Terra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Eduardo Baiano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Godfredo Mel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Eduardo Baiano to make any attempt to save it. Rinto Kalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Souto in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Edmundo Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, FC Bestone 716's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Souto came free, but Rinto Kalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Terra to strike the kick off in the second half.
