Mauro Primeiro let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 3rd minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Ovidiu Bal kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Weigl came free, but Ovidiu Adrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC BAYBURT getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Beniamino Bergmann hit a great ball. Ovidiu Adrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvain Grootaerts in the 17th minute of the match. A hard shot 23 in the game by Mauro Primeiro from a close distance when the talented Jiang Shu managed to make a qualified save. FC BAYBURT's players were relieved. Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro came free and shot a quick shot against goal 24 minutes in the game, fortunately Jiang Shu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Jiang Shu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiger De Hond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Jiang Shu managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartosz Erland in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jiang Shu saved FC BAYBURT from getting behind. Sascha Kulovitz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Alexander Weigl came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FC BAYBURT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Weigl couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Primeiro in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jiang Shu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC BAYBURT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horst-Peter Unterberger was slow to take the kick. During this time Poli Timisoara's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Çağdaş Yuvakuran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jiang Shu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sergio Trattnig kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC BAYBURT booed when Poli Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Bal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Silvain Grootaerts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidiu Adrian skillfully saved the ball. FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Erland in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Primeiro made a kick off. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Poli Timisoara from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Bartosz Erland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Shu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mauro Primeiro hit a great ball. Mauro Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jiang Shu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Othello Simon managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BAYBURT's supporters rose to their feet, but Othello Simon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Adrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Primeiro in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jiang Shu saved FC BAYBURT from getting behind. Mauro Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jiang Shu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Primeiro in the 74th minute of play forced FC BAYBURT's goalkeeper Jiang Shu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Adrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Weigl in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Othello Simon in the 80th minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BAYBURT's goalkeeper Jiang Shu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC BAYBURT defense, Bartosz Erland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jiang Shu. The FC BAYBURT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jiang Shu should have stopped the shot. FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Erland in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BAYBURT's goalkeeper Jiang Shu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
