Ariel Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Haedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of BES MUDI BANDITS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Olimpia:s goal. After 8 minutes BES MUDI BANDITS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denis Inestrosa who took care of the corner kick. In the 10th minute Nelson Haedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Bingen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper Ariel Bingen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BES MUDI BANDITS's Ariel Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Haedo in the 20th minute of play. When Nelson Haedo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Club Olimpia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Haedo couldn't finish the play. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stewart Watson in the 25th minute of play. Dalwood Eicke kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ariel Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Haedo in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Haedo in the 35th minute of play forced BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper Ariel Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes in the game Potter Shirdon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rusty Vaisey. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when BES MUDI BANDITS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Allan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Nelson Haedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ariel Bingen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Club Olimpia made a substitution. Edmund Lidberg replaced Rickard Soned. The wind increased when Nichol Clark made the kick off in the second half. Nelson Haedo scored 0-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Bingen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Olimpia's Otsoa Manzardo was substituted for Roberto Bueldi. Club Olimpia's Roque Gora was substituted for Luís Fernando Duarte. Carlos Allan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ariel Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Haedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Olimpia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Otsoa Manzardo in the 62nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Denis Inestrosa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Denis Inestrosa took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Bingen. Ariel Bingen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. BES MUDI BANDITS's Ariel Bingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save BES MUDI BANDITS from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Ozzie Boneheyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Bingen made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Nelson Haedo sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelson Haedo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Bingen saved BES MUDI BANDITS from getting behind. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stewart Watson in the 77th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Ariel Bingen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Inestrosa in the 84th minute of play forced BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper Ariel Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes BES MUDI BANDITS got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Allan. Ariel Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Haedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Bingen stood somewhat misplaced when Nelson Haedo came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 88 minute. After 91 minutes, Roque Gora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Olimpia and the BES MUDI BANDITS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Roque Gora got a free kick in the 91st minute.
