Armando Amarita was slow to take the kick. During this time Utopía Muerta FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Utopía Muerta FC's corner Anier Johans fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Aguilar quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Di Yang Lei hit a great ball. Rickard Soned hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Utopía Muerta FC's Arkadiusz Piatek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Aguilar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute, Jack Hägglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Leoncio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Alfredo Aguilar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Piatek went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Utopía Muerta FC's Arkadiusz Piatek got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Santiago hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Mano Hume stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson Haedo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Arkadiusz Piatek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Aguilar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Utopía Muerta FC got a corner. Club Olimpia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Amarita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arkadiusz Piatek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Aguilar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Di Yang Lei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Utopía Muerta FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arkadiusz Piatek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Haedo in the 58th minute of play. Mano Hume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Haedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Haedo in the 61st minute of play. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Müfit Mikail with Denis Inestrosa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Armando Amarita hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Nelson Haedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mano Hume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when Utopía Muerta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Severo Bermudo replaced Anier Johans. Cristo Leoncio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Inestrosa in the 69th minute of play. Alfredo Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Hibai in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when Utopía Muerta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdeněk Kozlík didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Severo Bermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Aguilar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek in the 80th minute of play. With his leg Alfredo Aguilar managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Utopía Muerta FC's Arkadiusz Piatek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute, Severo Bermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Aguilar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Severo Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alfredo Aguilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Arkadiusz Piatek took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Alfredo Aguilar to make any attempt to save it. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Haedo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Braulio Hibai made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Aguilar. Club Olimpia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Braulio Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Alfredo Aguilar made a huge save. Utopía Muerta FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
