Wolves's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC BAYBURT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Jurăscu was slow to take the kick. During this time Wolves's players had a chance to rest. Dé Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvain Grootaerts in the 12th minute of the match. Dé Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvain Grootaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carl Konig went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dé Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Konig in the 16th minute of play. Silvain Grootaerts succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Wolves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beniamino Bergmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Alexander Weigl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes of play, FC BAYBURT's Carl Konig made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Jurăscu made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Emil Jurăscu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolves's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC BAYBURT the free kick. Emil Jurăscu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Silvain Grootaerts made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Wolves's Dé Leão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wolves's Dé Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Wolves from getting a goal against them. Dé Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Weigl in the 63rd minute. The corner led FC BAYBURT's Carl Konig to fire away a dangerous shot which Dé Leão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 84th minute, Alexander Weigl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC BAYBURT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Wojciech Nienajadlo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the match was over FC BAYBURT could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wolves throughout the match.
