Alfredo Joey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, Adrián Espadas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Joey. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrián Espadas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Vitaliy Vischak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Santiago Mino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 38th minute of the match. William Bengtsson got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arnoldo Medina. After 55 minutes of play, Palermo's Santiago Mino made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitaliy Vischak was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Necula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Joey having to make a save. Alfredo Joey made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Răzvan Necula sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Răzvan Necula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Răzvan Necula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Alfredo Joey made a huge save. With his leg Alfredo Joey managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
