Henri Thomasses short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Flávio Terra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zülfikar Neyzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Cedro in the 20th minute of the match. Henri Thomasse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. J.P. Drugi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flávio Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by J.P. Drugi in the 29th minute. Zülfikar Neyzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, SC Conceição's Cosme Artizar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zülfikar Neyzen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Caspiy defense, Cristian Nevares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zülfikar Neyzen. The FC Caspiy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zülfikar Neyzen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Artizar in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Caspiy's goalkeeper Zülfikar Neyzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Cosme Artizar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zülfikar Neyzen. FC Caspiy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Artizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Henri Thomasse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Flávio Terra made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henri Thomasse was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Henri Thomasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Caspiy's Zülfikar Neyzen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC Caspiy from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Henri Thomasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Conceição's Cristian Nevares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zülfikar Neyzen. That made the score 1-3 after 62 minutes of play. Zülfikar Neyzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Artizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Florentino Cedro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zülfikar Neyzen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. SC Conceição's Flávio Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Thomasse in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Nevares got free with Zülfikar Neyzen in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Henri Thomasse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flávio Terra. SC Conceição's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henri Thomasse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 83rd minute Henri Thomasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Caspiy's Alain Sutter got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Henri Thomasse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Conceição's Flávio Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Caspiy booed when SC Conceição was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joãozinho Amigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, FC Caspiy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by J.P. Drugi to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over SC Conceição could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Caspiy throughout the match.
