That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Ghostbusters CF's Reynaldo Pinto got a free kick in the 14th minute. Flávio Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Garin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SC Conceição defense, Reynaldo Pinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flávio Terra. The SC Conceição fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flávio Terra should have stopped the shot. SC Conceição's Cristian Nevares got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Dario Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes SC Conceição's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pompiliu Crainic who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of SC Conceição booed when Ghostbusters CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Neagu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Conceição's Gigel Toacsen got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes, Ghostbusters CF's Pompiliu Crainic shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flávio Terra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ghostbusters CF reached it. A collision led to Ghostbusters CF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Radu Trică hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Trică in the 46th minute of play forced SC Conceição's goalkeeper Flávio Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
