The Seggiano fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Seggiano's Godo Møltoft looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute Daniele Massaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Colecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Damario in the 20th minute of play. Eugenio Colecchia came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Riesgo Cero's Santo Damario. But to his dismay, Santo Damario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Daniele Massaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Vladimirescu. Riesgo Cero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniele Massaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 29th minute, Reasco Das hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Cristian Vladimirescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniele Massaro in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristian Vladimirescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 39th minute, Seggiano's Daniele Massaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Cristian Vladimirescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniele Massaro in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniele Massaro was the one to do the kick off. Godo Møltoft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cristian Vladimirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Godo Møltoft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Colecchia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 庄潮宽 in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia got control of the ball when Kubilay İmge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kubilay İmge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Eugenio Colecchia made a huge save. Marco Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Alessio Nola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Vladimirescu skillfully saved the ball. Alessio Nola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Vladimirescu having to interfere. Eugenio Colecchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Biskupiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Riesgo Cero booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Stiller didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Massaro came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Daniele Massaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seggiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniele Massaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Vladimirescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Klawki to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Massaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniele Massaro's late challenge caught a Riesgo Cero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniele Massaro helped the player get up and apologised. Daniele Massaro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Eugenio Colecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 庄潮宽, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riesgo Cero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
