The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Hong Shi Wei got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 11 minutes into the match. Robin Sharma made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Constantin Bădila sent off a good shot on target. If Marin Dindelegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Petruț Arapașu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Marin Dindelegan got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karol Panasewicz struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Petruț Arapașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Mountain State. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Dindelegan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Bădila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karol Panasewicz in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petruț Arapașu saved ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ from getting behind. Petruț Arapașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 46th minute of the match. Constantin Bădila hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marin Dindelegan to strike the kick off in the second half. Robin Sharma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Dindelegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petruț Arapașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 60th minute of play forced ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Petruț Arapașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petruț Arapașu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Panasewicz's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Blue Mountain State made a substitution. George Popescu replaced Hong Shi Wei. After 74 played minutes ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Mugur. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lionel-Andrés Messi got free with Petruț Arapașu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lionel-Andrés Messi scored 0-5 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petruț Arapașu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 81st minute of play. Lionel-Andrés Messi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petruț Arapașu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lionel-Andrés Messi came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Blue Mountain State fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lionel-Andrés Messi couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petruț Arapașu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Blue Mountain State eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
