The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Long Yuan De took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Karlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Yuan De showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Oalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Long Yuan De stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hampus Karlstedt's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Hampus Karlstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Hampus Karlstedt sped through Astillero del Guayas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Long Yuan De. Ulizes Sola kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Long Yuan De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Karlstedt in the 44th minute of play. If Álvaro Fidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hampus Karlstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Valery in the 90th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Long Yuan De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Long Yuan De didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when América Magics Fc's Hampus Karlstedt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-7 in the ordered_time% minute.
