Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorino Peake started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Serbülent Baysan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Anderlecht Huachipato from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Amado Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Victorino Peake's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Fiúza was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Domingos Lencastre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serbülent Baysan came out and tried to block the shot, but Domingos Lencastre slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. When Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalie prevented a goal. If Tony Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Fedchenko in the 27th minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Fiúza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Peake in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Domingos Lencastre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio Viana's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Lencastre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serbülent Baysan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Domingos Lencastre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serbülent Baysan. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Serbülent Baysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Lencastre in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute Domingos Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Maria Cossio's late challenge caught a Gremio Viana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Maria Cossio helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 minutes of play, Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serbülent Baysan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alberto-Federico Acosta was substituted for Baumar Ontanilla. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Lázaro Barrionuevo was substituted for Felix Txilar. Tony Påk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute Joaquim Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Joaquim Paredes made a precise shot to the right of Serbülent Baysan. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorino Peake got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Joaquim Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Joaquim Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Joaquim Paredes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serbülent Baysan. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Paredes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Serbülent Baysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Fiúza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto-Federico Acosta in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gremio Viana had won after a very even match.
