Frode Tobiassen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Torbjörn Uggla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Snubbinhoz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Malmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Brufoss IL's Kai Østbye tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Markham in the 21st minute of play forced Snubbinhoz FC's goalkeeper Jörgen Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torbjörn Uggla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Opdal having to interfere. The supporters of Snubbinhoz FC booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Østbye didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wigalf Lilleike in the 27th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Kai Østbye. Wigalf Lilleike recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leif Opdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wigalf Lilleike in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Brufoss IL got a corner. Snubbinhoz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kai Østbye ran over to the corner to take the kick. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Jörgen Askelöf successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frode Tobiassen got free with Jörgen Askelöf in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Torbjörn Uggla put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leif Opdal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Uggla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Snubbinhoz FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Beneth hit a great ball. Jörgen Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Markham, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Brufoss IL's Nils-Arne Bruvik was substituted for Kevin Strømsnes. The Brufoss IL fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Brufoss IL's August Bergsland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Snubbinhoz FC booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Markham didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 88 in the game by Wigalf Lilleike from a close distance when the talented Leif Opdal managed to make a qualified save. Brufoss IL's players were relieved. Snubbinhoz FC played a much better game than Brufoss IL and deserved their victory. The Brufoss IL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
