After 3rd play minutes Jerry Soon shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Édouard Mendy and just under the crossbar into goal. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Rajah, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Rajah in the 7th minute of play forced Hannover Football Club's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Roberto Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Soon in the 11th minute of play forced Hannover Football Club's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Oakham's Bryan Hui got control of the ball when Roberto Vasconcelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hannover Football Club's Jean Messias got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Vasconcelos got free with Bryan Hui in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Édouard Mendy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Soon's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After 24 played minutes Hannover Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Frits Elhart. Édouard Mendy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerry Soon went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hannover Football Club's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Rajah in the 36th minute of play. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Soon in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jerry Soon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Édouard Mendy was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute Wong Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Asiz Rajah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wong Butcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Édouard Mendy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryan Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Wong Butcher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Édouard Mendy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Dadá Madureira made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Hannover Football Club's Édouard Mendy got control of the ball when Jerry Soon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerry Soon in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Édouard Mendy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 57th minute, Oakham's Jerry Soon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Oakham's Asiz Rajah got a free kick in the 64th minute. Oakham's Bryan Hui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Vasconcelos in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Soon to maneuver through the defense. Asiz Rajah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oakham made a substitution. Gara Hock replaced Mark Koh. Hannover Football Club's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Hannover Football Club from getting a goal against them. Oakham were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Hannover Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Asiz Rajah took the corner. In the 80th minute Jean Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Hui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Hannover Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Frits Elhart. In the 82nd minute of the match Asiz Rajah shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Édouard Mendy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gara Hock struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Édouard Mendy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakham. In the 92nd minute Wong Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakham's Gara Chian. But to his dismay, Gara Chian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 97 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Asiz Rajah.
