A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Velizar Perković with Cesare Punta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 16 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Punta came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Carter Di Fazio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gines in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Ladislao Gines got a free kick in the 27th minute. Creekers's Jude Crocker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Creekers from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elia Di Vincenzo got free with Jude Crocker in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Lu Jian Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Gines in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Saturnin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Gines in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match, Carter Di Fazio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jude Crocker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Carter Di Fazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Crocker having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Lu Jian Feng in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Creekers's Uku Karju. The supporters of Creekers booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Di Vincenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riley Trotter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Riley Trotter could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Urbano Saturnin however easily saved by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Creekers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
