Pedro Navarro was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Enrique Cassaretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Cassaretto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ciruel Academy's Pedro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ciruel Academy from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrique Cassaretto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Navarro. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Zuberbuhler Gordo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Călin Morovan got free with Pedro Navarro in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CD Municipal's Aureliano Buendia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alif Ching, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Ciruel Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Martino Armona scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Navarro, making the score, 4-0. In the 43rd minute, Enrique Cassaretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. CD Municipal's Mosen Colillas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sigfrido Soldado in the 46 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cassaretto got free with Pedro Navarro in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulryk Brzeszczak was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Enrique Cassaretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 56 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Oalo Dean notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Ciruel Academy's Pedro Navarro. Pedro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute Ryota Miyagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for CD Municipal. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Brzeszczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Ciruel Academy got a corner. CD Municipal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julio Roca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Toma Ron's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toma Ron helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mosen Colillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CD Municipal had played much better football throughout.
