Jacob Alavedra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edson Recife went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Abel de Lara scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Alavedra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28thth minute of the game Ulryk Brzeszczak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Anaia Barba hit a great ball. Guga Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Brzeszczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Anaia Barba kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 32nd minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Jacob Alavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guga Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Brzeszczak in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anaia Barba in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Alavedra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulryk Brzeszczak made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciruel Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julio Roca in the 52nd minute.
