The supporters of KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Juan-Ramón Verón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Saturnin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mondi Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Punta in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Sao Brasola's Deng Jian Bing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by İlbey Birsen, made in the 56th minute of the game. With a little luck, Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin got control of the ball when Juan-Ramón Verón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan-Ramón Verón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Saturnin having to make a save. The KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
