Enrique Cassaretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıza Vuralhan having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Tulio Andinyach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yunus Mahşer hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rıza Vuralhan saved Strömsbro IF from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Zworski came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martino Armona in the 34th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Cassaretto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rıza Vuralhan came out and tried to block the shot, but Enrique Cassaretto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 40th minute. After 44 minutes Strömsbro IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martino Armona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led CD Municipal's Martino Armona to fire away a dangerous shot which Rıza Vuralhan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CD Municipal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martino Armona in the 45th minute. CD Municipal's Martino Armona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rıza Vuralhan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wasyl Zworski to strike the kick off in the second half. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Zworski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Wasyl Zworski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving George Forsyth. That made the score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Aureliano Buendia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Ryota Miyagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıza Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oalo Dean in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rıza Vuralhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Mosen Colillas in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antti Ani in the 93rd minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oalo Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD Municipal were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
