Jude Crocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Töpper in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Gines came free, but Freddie de Nooijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Ladislao Gines left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Creekers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 16th minute Dé Töpper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vampiros Aztecas's Macedonio Fonticoba in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dé Töpper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Creekers's Ladislao Gines in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vampiros Aztecas's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Ladislao Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creekers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Gines in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Freddie de Nooijer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Creekers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Vistruario in the 40th minute. The supporters of Creekers booed when Vampiros Aztecas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Granqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Creekers fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Creekers's Ladislao Gines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Gines was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Verheydt got free with Jude Crocker in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the game, Leif Jonasson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Creekers's Veniamin Tziortzopoulos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jude Crocker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macedonio Fonticoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Freddie de Nooijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Creekers's Riley Trotter got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Macedonio Fonticoba came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vampiros Aztecas's Thomas Verheydt got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
