Ladislao Gines made a great header on Creekers's corner, it was just that Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares managed to reach the ball for a save. After 5 minutes, Ladislao Gines made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Guga Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ladislao Gines came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Creekers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Gines couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Ladislao Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Gines took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga Tavares. Guga Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Arthur dos Santos in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Creekers's Saverio Vistruario. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Gines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Tavares was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Ladislao Gines took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga Tavares. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ksawery Tyszka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Tavares having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel de Lara in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jude Crocker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 minutes Creekers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anaia Barba who took care of the corner kick. Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jude Crocker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jude Crocker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Lara in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Romero came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Edson Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riley Trotter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Guga Tavares made a huge save. Jude Crocker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Riley Trotter took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Guga Tavares to make any attempt to save it. 92 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Guga Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalton Flaherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anaia Barba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jude Crocker. Creekers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Creekers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
