Guga Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Ramón Verón in the 3rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Mondi Muslera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guga Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Ramón Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anaia Barba during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Anaia Barba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Ramón Verón in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's goalkeeper Mondi Muslera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel de Lara. After 17 minutes of play, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Juan-Ramón Verón made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mondi Muslera made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Juan-Ramón Verón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guga Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldinho Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mondi Muslera came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldinho Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 26th minute. Mondi Muslera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel de Lara in the 29th minute. Abel de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Mondi Muslera made a huge save. If Lütfi Kadrettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Juan-Ramón Verón notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares. Guga Tavares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guga Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Ramón Verón, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Ramón Verón to make the kick off. Mondi Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Romero in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's İlbey Birsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Guga Tavares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexilhão F. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Juan-Ramón Verón got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guga Tavares. 66 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan-Ramón Verón. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Juan-Ramón Verón took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Guga Tavares to make any attempt to save it. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Cezmi Taşkınay was substituted for Juan-Ramón Verón. After having played for 71 minutes, Lütfi Kadrettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lütfi Kadrettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guga Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezmi Taşkınay in the 80th minute. A collision led to KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cezmi Taşkınay hit a great ball. Cezmi Taşkınay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guga Tavares having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Cezmi Taşkınay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guga Tavares. That made the score 1-7 in the 87 minute of play. Cezmi Taşkınay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guga Tavares came out and tried to block the shot, but Cezmi Taşkınay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 96th minute.
