The Vampiros Aztecas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Freddie de Nooijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddie de Nooijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatan Molina in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Vampiros Aztecas's Dé Töpper ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind George Forsyth. Freddie de Nooijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 24th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the game Amador Iturri made a throw-in which Dé Töpper played forward. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddie de Nooijer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Oalo Dean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddie de Nooijer was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
