Cãlin Damaschin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 27th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Furman. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Equipo's Teofil Chrzan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulo Maldini in the 94 minute of the game. If Bruno Beugnet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Beugnet in the 95th minute of play. After 97 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Abel Velasco. With an all-out effort, Equipo's Cãlin Damaschin threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bruno Beugnet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Equipo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
