Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhold Artmaier in the 5th minute of the match. Thiago Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaan Winter having to make a save. In the 12th minute Thiago Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaan Winter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhold Artmaier in the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Jităreanu got free with Petr Čech in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SCs StarS booed when STORM CORNER F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krisztián Lisztes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhold Artmaier, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Krisztián Lisztes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Čech having to interfere. In the 30th minute Ede Szász shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stellan Josefsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by STORM CORNER F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florian Hekman was slow to take the kick. During this time SCs StarS's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 44 minutes, Thiago Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCs StarS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

SCs StarS made a substitution. Henk Zijden replaced Edgar Reitsema. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thiago Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in STORM CORNER F.C.'s zone, Thiago Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaan Winter came out of the goal and Thiago Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute STORM CORNER F.C. were awarded a corner. Ionuț Jităreanu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ionuț Jităreanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SCs StarS's Petr Čech did a great save. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ede Szász, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Gol in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaan Winter saved STORM CORNER F.C. from getting behind. In the 67th minute Thiago Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaan Winter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ede Szász sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ionuț Jităreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Petr Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SCs StarS made a substitution. Kelvin Dekkers replaced Luka Ramos. Jordy Dirks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Kaan Winter made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ede Szász sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Čech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Cesare Silvestre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Petr Čech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Robert de Graaf kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ionuț Jităreanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petr Čech came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in STORM CORNER F.C. reached it. STORM CORNER F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SCs StarS to leave the ground with a draw.
