The referee ignored FC Hackspett U21's protests and gave Luka Pirlo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Luka Pirlo hit a great ball. Joachim Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Encanto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardinho Paes in the 22nd minute. Encanto's Bernardinho Paes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joachim Holmgren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Fabinho Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Fabinho Pernambucano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren. Joachim Holmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shi Li Sha was the one to do the kick off. Shi Li Sha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Tasso having to interfere. When Miromir Szostak came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Hackspett U21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Szostak couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Hames came free, but Joachim Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes FC Hackspett U21's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardinho Paes who took care of the corner kick. 64 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Pernambucano came free, but Joachim Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Encanto were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Hackspett U21 to leave the ground with a draw.
