Raido Pulver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tipi Calderon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Raido Pulver came free, but Tipi Calderon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Kim Lekberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Haşim Batüralp to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute, Kim Lekberg made a precise shot to the right of Haşim Batüralp. Kings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Raido Pulver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tipi Calderon having to make a save. With a little luck, Kings's Haşim Batüralp got control of the ball when Melquiades Belo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Lekberg in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haşim Batüralp saved Kings from getting behind. Kings's Sikstas Simanauskas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fulgencio Eguerdi, made in the 30th minute of the game. Club Atletico Los Andes's Tipi Calderon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raido Pulver in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Raido Pulver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Los Andes's Tipi Calderon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Kings's Luís Figo was substituted for Rocco Ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kim Lekberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Tomáš Lamačka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haşim Batüralp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atletico Los Andes made a substitution. Eusebio Cordarrel replaced Tomáš Lamačka. Club Atletico Los Andes's Kaj Skager was substituted for Kim Lekberg. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Fulgencio Eguerdi with Orlando Inautzi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 80 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kaj Skager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raido Pulver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
