An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 5th minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Joachim Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unai Papachronopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Holmgren having to interfere. Wilhelm Kilberg hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Joachim Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joachim Holmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sid Todd made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sebastiano Disselkoen immediately put the ball in play. FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 21st minute of play. Joachim Holmgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehat Kovaçi went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hernani Sabóia hit a great ball. Joachim Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Zambrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Miromir Szostak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Equipo's Ismael Furman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Mehat Kovaçi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Equipo's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehat Kovaçi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim Holmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Equipo booed when FC Hackspett U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Kilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Hackspett U21 defense, Mehat Kovaçi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joachim Holmgren. The FC Hackspett U21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joachim Holmgren should have stopped the shot. After the first half Equipo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Li Sha made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joachim Holmgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 52 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Ye Feng Feng. In the 61st match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Berend Hermensen charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berend Hermensen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berend Hermensen hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Joachim Holmgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Beugnet in the 78th minute. Miromir Szostak's late challenge caught a Equipo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miromir Szostak helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Hackspett U21's Miromir Szostak got a free kick in the 79th minute. Joachim Holmgren was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Bruno Beugnet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Beugnet really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Joachim Holmgren made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Bruno Beugnet sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Klemensson came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Equipo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
