The Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Furman should have stopped the shot. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Equipo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jairo Zambrano in the 11th minute. In the 20th minute of the match SCs StarS got a corner. Equipo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florian Hekman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SCs StarS's Florian Hekman to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Furman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thiago Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Thiago Gol sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Furman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thiago Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Gol in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unai Papachronopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ismael Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Gol in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match SCs StarS got a corner. Equipo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florian Hekman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Equipo's goalie and right to Jordy Dirks. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Equipo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 40th minute of the match. Unai Papachronopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

SCs StarS made a substitution. Henk Zijden replaced Edgar Reitsema. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehat Kovaçi to make the kick off. Mehat Kovaçi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Čech having to make a save. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 52nd minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Furman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Gol in the 77th minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Thiago Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Equipo's Ismael Furman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Hekman in the 87th minute of play. Ismael Furman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Gol's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Jordy Dirks scored 2-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Furman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Equipo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SCs StarS.
