The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Co Scholten to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miromir Szostak in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Čech saved SCs StarS from getting behind. In the 11th minute of the match Ye Feng Feng shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petr Čech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Nils Smitt. With a little luck, FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren got control of the ball when Thiago Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Miromir Szostak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Ye Feng Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 31st minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Joachim Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Kilberg got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Berend Hermensen. 40 minutes into the game, Jordy Dirks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SCs StarS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hackspett U21 the free kick. Joachim Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Gol got free with Joachim Holmgren in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ye Feng Feng during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Ye Feng Feng. Joachim Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Gol in the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to SCs StarS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luka Ramos hit a great ball. SCs StarS's Henk Zijden was substituted for Edgar Reitsema. The supporters of FC Hackspett U21 booed when SCs StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shi Li Sha to make the kick off. Joachim Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Gol in the 58th minute of play. Shi Li Sha charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shi Li Sha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Hackspett U21's Shi Li Sha got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hernani Sabóia hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's Florian Hekman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joachim Holmgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joachim Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Hekman in the 72nd minute of the match. Joachim Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Dirks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. FC Hackspett U21's Edvard Klemensson was substituted for Ye Feng Feng. FC Hackspett U21 made a substitution. Kara Melo replaced Göran Ekelund. In the 77th match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Gol in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Florian Hekman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SCs StarS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 83 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miromir Szostak. Edvard Klemensson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Edvard Klemensson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Joachim Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvin Brenner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Petr Čech skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Petr Čech was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kara Melo. Joachim Holmgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jordy Dirks went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SCs StarS had played much better football throughout.
