Latif Hanif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Banu in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Caramarin in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Latif Hanif saved Poppy FC from getting behind. MIT Craiova's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Flinck in the 14th minute of play. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Flinck in the 14th minute of play. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Flinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sercan Ömür kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Poppy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Banu came free, but Latif Hanif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poppy FC's Latif Hanif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 19th minute of play. Latif Hanif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Banu in the 20th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ivan Vâtcă in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Poppy FC's Sercan Ömür. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 35th minute, Dorin Banu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Damian Brack kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Latif Hanif came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by MIT Craiova's Dorin Banu. But to his dismay, Dorin Banu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 41 minutes into the game, MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Latif Hanif made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Poppy FC's zone, Tiberiu Caramarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Latif Hanif came out of the goal and Tiberiu Caramarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 47th minute of play forced Poppy FC's goalkeeper Latif Hanif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiberiu Caramarin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Dorin Banu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Latif Hanif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Caramarin in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Latif Hanif saved Poppy FC from getting behind. Latif Hanif made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 63rd minute. The supporters of MIT Craiova booed when Poppy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sercan Ömür didn't get a good kick on the ball. MIT Craiova's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. MIT Craiova's Ivan Vâtcă quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sercan Ömür, made in the 68th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Caramarin lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Latif Hanif. Sercan Ömür hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes, Tiberiu Caramarin made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Poppy FC's Latif Hanif tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 77th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Caramarin to maneuver through the defense. MIT Craiova made a substitution. Fabian Geantă replaced Mihăiţă Ilarie. Tiberiu Caramarin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Tiberiu Caramarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiberiu Caramarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MIT Craiova made a substitution. Bogdan Bucataru replaced Florin Seremet. Tiberiu Caramarin took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Latif Hanif. Latif Hanif dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. David Tunander kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 89thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Poppy FC's keeper Latif Hanif was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 91 minutes Poppy FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bogdan Bucataru who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Tiberiu Caramarin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the MIT Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Caramarin couldn't finish the play.
