Joachim Forseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☠QUINTERO☠. ☠QUINTERO☠'s Merdin Merdaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Nannskog in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Wei Cheng Ling got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Erik Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merdin Merdaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Cantona in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merdin Merdaci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Truls Landsem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merdin Merdaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ☠QUINTERO☠'s Agustín Antonucci managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Brian Laudrup in the 25 minute of the game. Merdin Merdaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Nannskog in the 30th minute of play. Merdin Merdaci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Cantona went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Aldo Cazorla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Merdin Merdaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Truls Landsem in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Nannskog was the one to do the kick off.
