After 9 played minutes ☠QUINTERO☠ got a freekick which was hit by Wei Cheng Ling. In the 10th minute Mihăiţă Ilarie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merdin Merdaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Caramarin in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Merdin Merdaci saved ☠QUINTERO☠ from getting behind. In the 19th minute of the match ☠QUINTERO☠ got a corner. MIT Craiova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frédson Schmidt ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Aldo Cazorla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a little luck, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Merdin Merdaci got control of the ball when Dorin Banu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiberiu Caramarin took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Merdin Merdaci. Merdin Merdaci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodemo Saravia, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Banu got free with Merdin Merdaci in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leoncio Baburizza in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Ilarie to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiberiu Caramarin to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodemo Saravia in the 54th minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merdin Merdaci was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. ☠QUINTERO☠ made a substitution. Casimír Ambrosetti replaced Leoncio Baburizza. MIT Craiova's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. Merdin Merdaci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Tunander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Anselmo Remir got a free kick in the 76th minute. Anselmo Remir hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qu Ming Qiang in the 80th minute of the match. Casimír Ambrosetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Calistrat Madgearu made a huge save. The audience was convinced that David Tunander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merdin Merdaci was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 89th minute David Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merdin Merdaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MIT Craiova getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Radu Sărăroiu hit a great ball. ☠QUINTERO☠'s Frédson Schmidt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Calistrat Madgearu but with some difficulty.
