André Onana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Barskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Ernst Barskov notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sielce Warszawa's André Onana. André Onana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Denis Schubring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikolas Tengbjerg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Denis Schubring cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. André Onana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, FC Drik's Gunvald Mitens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Onana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Schubring kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving André Onana. That made the score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Edin Džeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edin Džeko to make the kick off. Ted Kobbeltvedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Ernst Barskov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Drik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. With a little luck, FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt got control of the ball when Edin Džeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edin Džeko got free with Ted Kobbeltvedt in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sielce Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after FC Drik's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edin Džeko took the corner. Sielce Warszawa's Edin Džeko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunvald Mitens in the 87th minute of play forced Sielce Warszawa's goalkeeper André Onana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Onana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunvald Mitens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes Sielce Warszawa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Willy Reitoft who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Drik's corner Willy Reitoft fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Onana quite easily take care of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Drik had played much better football throughout.
