Nikolay Bonkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Björstedt in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Hanley came free, but Ted Kobbeltvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Lewandowski to maneuver through the defense. When Ernst Barskov came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the FC Drik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Barskov couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fitz Lambley. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernst Barskov to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes FC Drik got a freekick which was hit by Devlet İşcan. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Gavan in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Greg Gavan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. FC Drik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Greg Gavan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Jozef Lewandowski struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ted Kobbeltvedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garlic Eaters. Ted Kobbeltvedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikolay Bonkov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
