When Feng Bo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Hagfors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feng Bo couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Colas Morales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikolay Bonkov. Garlic Eaters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Colas Morales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhan Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Hagfors were awarded a corner. Herminio Emmanuel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Hagfors's Herminio Emmanuel to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikolay Bonkov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fitz Lambley got free with Mariusz Bejgier in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garlic Eaters were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Hagfors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Noel Broom took the corner. The corner led Garlic Eaters's Noel Broom to fire away a dangerous shot which Mariusz Bejgier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nikolay Bonkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhan Yang in the 13th minute of play. Fitz Lambley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Mariusz Bejgier made a huge save. Nikolay Bonkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Emmanuel in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Hagfors's goalkeeper Mariusz Bejgier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fitz Lambley. A collision led to Hagfors getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Boris Berglund hit a great ball. Zhan Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Bonkov having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Garlic Eaters's Fitz Lambley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hagfors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Noel Broom was slow to take the kick. During this time Garlic Eaters's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Noel Broom almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hagfors's Mariusz Bejgier did a great save. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Emmanuel in the 43rd minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Hagfors's Herminio Emmanuel made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikolay Bonkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jozef Lewandowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Jozef Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute, Jozef Lewandowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Feng Bo came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nikolay Bonkov could save by the left post. Fitz Lambley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Bejgier having to interfere. Garlic Eaters made a substitution. Greg Gavan replaced Fitz Lambley. Garlic Eaters's Justin Collingwood was substituted for Noel Broom. Garlic Eaters made a substitution. Pavol Stano replaced Tommy Hanley. 64 minutes into the match, Hagfors's goal looked a bit too open when Greg Gavan came free, but Mariusz Bejgier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garlic Eaters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greg Gavan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Jozef Lewandowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Jozef Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Bejgier was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Garlic Eaters's Greg Gavan got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov got control of the ball when Herminio Emmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justin Collingwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
