Ted Kobbeltvedt made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Herminio Emmanuel sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Emmanuel came free, but Ted Kobbeltvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariusz Bejgier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlet İşcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Jaime Jaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ted Kobbeltvedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Colas Morales went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt got control of the ball when Herminio Emmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernst Barskov might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariusz Bejgier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernst Barskov ran back to his position shaking his head. Herminio Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ted Kobbeltvedt made a huge save. Hemming Glykær hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Herminio Emmanuel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ted Kobbeltvedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Herminio Emmanuel slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Emmanuel made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Herminio Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hagfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Emmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Kobbeltvedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Kjellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ernst Barskov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Kjellqvist came free, but Ted Kobbeltvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Drik's Willy Reitoft was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mariusz Bejgier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Colas Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Emmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colas Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes Hagfors got a freekick which was hit by Boris Berglund. In the 79th match minute, Hagfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Arenberg to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes, Ernst Barskov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Drik and the Hagfors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Ernst Barskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th play minute Ernst Barskov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mariusz Bejgier. 4-2.
